Amanda Osborne, 42, is a first-generation college student who started her college journey in 1999. A mother of two and a licensed EMT, Amanda put her degree on hold after her busy life got in the way. Now, more than 20 years later and with a communications degree under her belt, she is following her passion and pursuing a new role. She joined an organization that specializes in accessible activities for children with long-term and terminal illnesses. She said, without her degree, this role would never have been possible.
