Brian Howard, 38, returned to school when his lack of degree inhibited him from advancing in the financial industry. As a father at 17, he struggled to make ends meet and started work as a bank teller. He moved up the ranks over the years, and received various promotions, including Bank Manager. After losing his job, he entered the job market and found that his application would often be immediately rejected. He enrolled online with SNHU to earn a credential and advance his career. With his BS in Business Administration in-hand, he accepted a new role with the Nevada Department of Education and is working as a budget analyst.
