Christa Silva, 36, is a mother of two who pursued a psychology degree to better support and advocate for her sons with autism. Despite her own challenges with dyslexia and a busy home life, she was able to earn her bachelor’s degree online with SNHU. She shared that education was her “self-care.” With her degree, she’s already been able to obtain a new position as a community case manager to help other individuals with special needs.
