Darian Beauchamp, and his wife Catherine Mosquea, both 27, graduated together in 2019, each earning an associate degree in criminal justice. The pair studied together at a local community college, but put their education on hold when life got in the way. Inspired by their young son, they decided to go back to school to finish their degrees to show him that “anything is possible.” Catherine works in a shelter helping children, people experiencing homelessness, and survivors of domestic abuse, while Darian works as a security receptionist at a nonprofit. With a passion for helping others, they both aspire to become NYC police officers with their degrees.
