Dawn Morgan, 30, is an Air Force spouse, mother of six, and first-generation college student who stopped out of high school at age 16. Determined to continue her education, she went back for her diploma at 25 and continued on the path to higher education. Shortly after pursuing her college degree, she obtained a role as a corrections officer after working for several years as a certified nursing assistant. With her associate degree in criminal justice, she is setting her sights on a career in corrections or hopes to become a detective for the Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
