Katlyn Genovese, 33, started her SNHU program after surviving a stroke in her 20s. At the time, she was studying mortuary science, but her limitations post-stroke made it impossible to pursue that discipline. Undeterred, she switched gears and earned a criminal justice degree with the goal of becoming a crime scene investigator. Katlyn says her brain works differently now, but despite her setbacks, she excelled at SNHU and graduated with a near perfect GPA.
