Maya Pena, 22, studied online with SNHU from Santa Clara Pueblo tribal reservation. She comes from a long line of educators who taught her the importance of education, and always looked forward to the next step: earning a degree. At the start of her college journey, she shared that she struggled with her mental health. Throughout her recovery, she found comfort in her art. Passionate about her future as a product designer, Maya believes her success will find its roots in the fusion of her business administration degree and her background as an artist.
