Richard Parks, 46, is an Air Force veteran and aspiring writer. He retired after 26 years of military service and decided to pursue higher learning. While working diligently on his creative writing program, Richard was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Determined to continue his SNHU studies, he persisted during his treatment and recovery from surgery, earning his bachelor’s degree with a 3.9 GPA.
