Sarah Navarro, 35, completed her degree program while recovering from a kidney donation, working full-time, and raising six kids. When she began her academic journey with SNHU, she had been working in elementary education for 11 years and initially enrolled in a communications program to advance her career. While taking a required course, she discovered a passion and talent for graphic design, which inspired a career and program change. With her graphic design and media arts degree, she is now providing design support for local businesses in her community. Sarah graduated in 2022 with a perfect 4.0 GPA and says that online learning afforded her the opportunity to return to school.
