Shannon Freda is a 40-year-old mother of five who graduated from SNHU in 2022 alongside her 22-year-old daughter Courtney Miles. For 15 years, Shannon has been working in Human Resources, an industry she is deeply passionate about. With the goal of increasing her income and advancing in the HR field, she decided to enroll online with SNHU to pursue her bachelor’s degree. Inspired by her mom, Courtney enrolled with the university to earn a degree and is now setting her sights on a career in HR. She started her journey at a traditional campus-based institution, but found that online learning fit her lifestyle better.
