Theresa Colon, 40, is a two time cancer-survivor whose college journey spans two decades. Her college career was put on hold in 2000 following the death of her mother and her own diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Theresa was later diagnosed with breast cancer. After working through the trauma of a double mastectomy, she decided it was time to go back to school. She felt like if she could beat cancer twice, she could do anything. Despite working full-time, getting her boys through remote learning, and focusing on her own courses, Theresa graduated from SNHU with honors. She hopes to use her healthcare administration degree to help others.
